Downtown Montreal Loft Studio • Steps to Old Port

overall very satisfied with the property quality and the owner Positive: Highly available owner and clear direction. clean property.

Nice room with easy access to public transportation Positive: Easy check-in, all done electronically. Room was spacious, we didn't use the kitchen but it seemed ready to use. Bathroom was big too, with a nice shower and good space. It was all very cleaned and well decorated. Location was close to the bus stop used to the airport, which was very convenient, and 13 min walk distance to Old Montreal. It was also very close to Metro stations and had some good choices of restaurants nearby. Negative: Location was central and easy to access public transportation, but the specific block where the hotel is located was a bit odd. There were some construction happening in it and there is also a few homeless people nearby. They didn't do anything and we didn't feel threatened by them but I was more alert while walking close to the hotel at night, specially since this block was quiet and there was not a reception in the hotel if something happened (since all was done electronically).

The price is not worth the hassle and you’re bettor off at a hotel instead of this place Positive: Nothing to like Negative: The air conditioning did not work, management did not accommodate us properly, communication was poor. Only two towels in the entire room. Pillows felt like a plastic bag of feathers. They told us to get another hotel room at 10pm because they couldn’t fix the issue. Parking was not accessible with ease, it was in the hospital basement and you need to walk all the way around to the single door that was open at the hospital entrance.
